Financial accountant (m/f/d)

• Ensuring the correct posting of all current business transactions and banking transactions
• Management and reconciliation of asset, accounts receivable, and accounts payable accounts
• Posting of incoming invoices and credit card statements and execution of payment transactions
• Checking incoming and outgoing payments
• Monitoring deadlines and payment dates
• Handling invoicing, dunning, and receivables management
• Maintaining, monitoring, and reconciling open items
• Responsibility for budgeting in cooperation with your supervisor
• Assisting with reports to the state statistical office
• Preparing monthly financial statements and preparing the annual financial statements
• Liaising with banks, tax offices, and public funding agencies
• Managing and filing company documents
• Providing technical guidance to one employee

• Commercial training or degree with a focus on accounting/bookkeeping or comparable qualification
• Ideally, qualification as a certified financial accountant
• At least eight years of relevant professional experience in financial accounting/taxation
• In-depth knowledge of HGB and IFRS
• Experienced in using the relevant programs as well as MS Office
• Experience in Navision/Dynamic/Business Central is an advantage
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
• Independent, responsible, and structured way of working
• Initiative, communication skills, and team spirit
• High level of loyalty and reliability
