- Further development of material, manufacturing, and processing technologies for ceramic materials in collaboration with colleagues and external partners from industry and research
- Investigation and evaluation of materials in the course of internal and external complaints, including assessment and interpretation of results
- Conducting failure and particle analyses
- Advising and supporting various departments (e.g., Development, Production, Incoming Goods Inspection, and Quality Assurance) on materials-related topics
- Preparation and communication of test results and material data to support complaint handling and process development
- Quality assurance support
- Destructive and non-destructive testing, including sample preparation
- Supervision of measuring equipment in the materials laboratory, including equipment approvals, documentation, data maintenance, and servicing
- Successfully completed degree in Materials Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related engineering or natural sciences discipline
- Ideally, initial practical experience (e.g., in quality assurance or a materials laboratory)
- Ideally, basic knowledge of ceramic materials and manufacturing processes and/or relevant testing and characterization methods
- Strong ability to work in cross-functional projects
- Experience in operating and knowledge of characterization and inspection equipment is an advantage
- Basic understanding of the scientific principles behind measurement tools
- Competence in problem-solving and statistical data analysis
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office is an advantage
- Independent and structured working style, strong communication skills, and ability to work in a team
- Organizational skills and results-oriented mindset
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
