Chemical Technician (m/f/d) for manufacturing/production

In this responsible position, you will ensure that the technical equipment is in proper working order and that product manufacturing runs smoothly.
You will mainly work in production and, together with the team, ensure that high-quality, reliable materials are manufactured for our customers on schedule.

Tasks

• Independent operation, control, and monitoring of production facilities for the manufacture of ceramic powders, such as spray towers, wind sifters, and air jet mills, melting furnaces, arc furnaces, and high-temperature furnaces
• Preparation and mixing of raw materials and additives according to recipe specifications
• Performing analyses and measurements for process control to ensure compliance with quality specifications
• Executing and documenting production orders in the assigned area of operation
• Performing simple maintenance work and troubleshooting malfunctions on the systems in your work area
• Compliance with legal regulations and accident prevention regulations

• Successfully completed training as a chemical technician or comparable qualification
• Several years of relevant professional experience
• Experience in working with the above-mentioned equipment
• Knowledge of processing materials such as oxides and carbides
• Sense of responsibility, ability to work in a team, and a high degree of independence
• Confident German language skills
• Good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and database systems
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
