- Active involvement in scaling up technical processes to industrial levels, including the definition of technical improvement
- Development and optimization of ceramic process technologies (powder processing, mixing, sintering, hot pressing, machining, etc.) for the production of ceramic products
- Analysis and improvement of process parameters, process stability, and energy efficiency
- Interface between plant engineering, process engineering, automation, and IT
- Documentation and evaluation of test series and operational data for continuous improvement
- Continuous improvement of quality aspects within the manufacturing area (compliance) as well as manufacturing process efficiency
- Responsibility for budget preparation and adherence, ensuring safety aspects, performance indicators, and quality KPIs
- Support in the further development of production technologies and their implementation
- Development of strategies to address current and future production challenges and to achieve company objectives
- Collaboration with equipment suppliers for the joint development of next-generation technologies
- Representation of IKH in the academic world and at research institutes, as well as identification and establishment of suitable partnerships
- Successfully completed degree in Chemical Engineering, Ceramic Engineering, Physical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
- Initial practical experience in optimizing high-temperature processes is advantageous, ideally in the field of pyrolysis or the ceramics industry
- Ideally, initial experience in powder conveying and handling or in process technologies for technical ceramics
- Good familiarity with technical ceramic materials is desirable
- Experience in statistical data analysis and experimental design is desirable, as is experience in writing technical reports
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office is an advantage
- Basic understanding of continuous yield improvement and cost reduction
- High level of self-motivation, organizational skills, and ability to work independently
- Team player with strong analytical thinking skills and enthusiasm for innovation
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
